Did you know that sweet chow chows are almost always available at your local shelter? If you recently lost a pet to old age or illness, heal your heart with a worthy friend. When you rescue an adoptable chow chow from a shelter, you save its life and possibly, heal your own heart from its sorrows.

The Prince George's County Forestville, Maryland, animal care and control shelter almost always has cute chows available for adoption. The adoption fee is very low for already neutered pets ($30 or so).

Let your cares melt away with the soft fur of a new friend.
