rescued: sweet, purebred male chow in full shelter, Rockville, MD,
September 10, 2006
Udpate: A rescue has stepped forward to help this beautiful chow.
I am the most beautiful chow chow you have ever seen! I have a sparkling personality. I’m a little shy at first; once I’m outside in the sunlight, I am friendly and happy. Is there a 501c3 rescue to help me; I’m in the Montgomery County Humane Society shelter in Rockville, MD. My number is : 199 (ask for Simba, #199, when you call). I am 6 years old, happy as can be and my owner said I am a sweet!
A golden male chow wishes for a happy home! But first, he needs some TLC from a rescue. If you are a 501c3 non-profit rescue, please contact the Montgomery County Animal Control & Humane Society : 240.773.5960, 6 years old… Ask about Simba, #199

I am assisting an older gentleman find a home for a blind chow (black) that he rescued last Nov 2005 at an area near a truck stop in Effingham Illinois. He placed ads in newspapers and on the radio and no one came forward. He believes this approx 9 mo old dog at that time (now 18+ mos.) was abandoned by a trucker do possibly to her blindness. She is an incredible dog as sweet as I’ve ever seen and would like to help him find a good home. He has another dog that does not get along with this one and has sold his home. I need a placement for him before October 23. Can you help or give us direction? You are the first I’ve contacted. Please respond asap. Thanks Sally Perles
